Born in Sussex, 1961 and presently living in Gloucestershire, Lo Cole is an established artist and illustrator who has been working professionally for over twenty years.

He graduated from Maidstone College Of Art in 1983 with a BA in fine art (printmaking) and immediately began working as a freelance illustrator whilst gaining an advanced diploma in screen-printing at the Central School of Art. In 1984 Lo was invited to create the controversial album sleeve artwork for Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s “Welcome To The Pleasure Dome” and shortly after was to join up with leading London illustration agency Sharp Practice. Ever since then he has produced illustrations that have appeared nationally and internationally for Design Groups, Advertising Agencies, Book publishers, and Editorial commissioners. Today Lo is a regular weekly contributor to the Guardian Newspaper and Weekend Magazine and is currently represented by The Inkshed Illustration Agency.

Throughout his career Lo has also continued to work as a painter and printmaker, exhibiting at various regional and London galleries. He has also undertaken several public art mural commissions as well as producing other work on a large scale for various corporate and private clients.
